This will be the fifth time that Joanne Smaltz and I have combined her gorgeous black and white photographs with my Feral Seed sculpture. A review of a 2005 'Seeds & Stems' exhibit remarks that the pairing of the work "creates a lovely synergy of thematic unity and expressive content - Waterman and Smaltz are both masters of their techniques. Both craft bodies of work that possess an authority and conviction borne of a satisfying union of materials and concept. Both create multileveled art characterized by a seeming desire to fashion a link between the economy and precision of abstraction and the organic associations of natural phenomena."

The show runs from Oct. 6 thru January 9th, artist's reception is Tuesday, October 7th, 5-7pm.

Tun Shell Complete
